Antioch Board of Trustees Puts Off a Vote That Could Reverse Its Decision to Close College
Students, faculty members, and alumni of Antioch College still do not know what the future holds for the beleaguered institution. On Saturday, after two days of intense negotiations, the Antioch Board of Trustees put off a vote on whether to reverse its decision to close the college by July 2008 because of money woes and low enrollments.
In June, when it announced that move, the board had said it hoped to reopen the college in 2012. The Antioch College Alumni Association,
