Anti-Sweatshop Group Adds More College Officials to Its Board
An anti-sweatshop group long criticized for being dominated by apparel companies has voted to add more university officials to its board.
There will now be three people from academe on the 16-member Board of Directors of the Fair Labor Association. Formerly, there was one collegiate voice on a 14-member board. The new composition was approved last month.
