Anti-Semitic Incidents on Campuses Increased in 2002, Report Finds
Anti-Semitic acts on college campuses increased for the third straight year in 2002, according to a report from the Anti-Defamation League.
The organization's annual "Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents," released last month, cites 106 such acts at colleges, an increase of 25 percent from 2001, in which 85 incidents were reported.
The audit lists instances of criminal and noncriminal harassment and intimidation, including threats, slurs, and the distribution of "hate propaganda."
