Anthropologist in Germany Resigns Amid Falsification Accusations
A professor of anthropology at the University of Frankfurt, in Germany, falsified data, plagiarized the work of his peers, and attempted to sell ape skulls belonging to the university, according to a university commission that concluded its investigation last month.
The professor, Reiner Protsch von Zieten, who was also director of the university's Institute of Anthropology, has denied the accusations against him. He resigned effective February 1, before the investigative panel
