Another University Benefits From Its Role in a Feature Film
High-profile college sports programs often have little reason to promote their association with movies. The University of Notre Dame, for example, had a golden-domed reputation decades before Rudy. Similarly, officials at Indiana University say that the 2002 television miniseries Season on the Brink, about the institution's tempestuous former basketball coach Bob Knight, had little effect on its already renowned program.
