Another College Sues Southern Accreditor
Hiwassee College has become the second institution this year to sue its accrediting body, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, for revoking its accreditation.
The small, two-year Methodist college in Tennessee filed the lawsuit in March in U.S. District Court in Knoxville after losing an appeal to the accreditor.
