Animal-Rights Militants Vandalize Scientist's Home
A house owned by a researcher at the University of California at Los Angeles has been vandalized by the Animal Liberation Front.
The group broke a window and then flooded the house of Edythe D. London, director of UCLA's Laboratory of Molecular Neuroimaging in late October.
A UCLA spokesman confirmed the account. The group said it singled out Ms. London because of her use of primates in research on nicotine and methamphetamines.
