An American and a German University Set Up a New Research Institution
A new institution that aspires to be the largest and most ambitious private research university in continental Europe is being established in the German city of Bremen.
The English-language International University Bremen has been developed through the joint efforts of a state-run German institution, the University of Bremen, and a private American one, Rice University.
