American Historical Association Stages Events to Raise Funds and Profile
Just because the American Historical Association is the "premier society of historians in the United States," as it calls itself, doesn't mean that it's flush with cash.
To raise money, as well as its public profile, the group has started holding small fund-raising sessions featuring talks by notable historians.
