American Council on Education Will Cut Spending in Fiscal 2010

The American Council on Education, the nation's umbrella higher-education association, will cut spending on several programs by 15 percent and postpone salary increases by six months to free up money for other programs and prepare for potential revenue losses in the coming year, the council told employees on Thursday.
