Amen for a Catholic Campus
Most college presidents don't greet visiting reporters at the curb. Of course, most college presidents don't answer their own phones, either. Or fix broken locks. Or strap on gas-powered leaf blowers to clear the sidewalks before classes begin.
But Dan Guernsey, as he will readily concede, is not like most college presidents. Nor is Ave Maria College like most colleges. To begin with, it has only one student. And, at the end of the academic year, it will cease to exist.
