Alabama State U. Accused of Questionable Recruiting Practices

The NCAA's investigators also may be visiting Alabama State University in the near future.

Bama State is facing questions about its recruiting practices over the past few years, not long after a trustee argued for upgrading the football team to Division I-A.

Last month the university sent a report to the NCAA answering allegations made by a former coach who accused the current coaching staff of rules violations, including changing athletes' grades and allowing ineligible
