Alabama House Approves Measure to Put 'Education Lottery' on Ballot
Alabama took the first big step last week to join some of its Southern neighbors in the lottery business. The state's House of Representatives approved a measure that would put a constitutional amendment on the ballot that would permit a lottery for college scholarships.
