Al Gore Pushes Community Development Through a Satellite Course

A course that Al Gore has taught at two universities over the past two years is now available on videotape for distance-education purposes. The former vice president's course, on the role of families in community development, is part of his work with the National Community and Academic Consortium, a group of about 10 institutions developing an interdisciplinary curriculum on community building.
