Airlines Donate Tickets to Help 25 Black Applicants Visit U. of Texas Law School
Four airlines recently donated roundtrip tickets to black students accepted by the law school at the University of Texas at Austin, so they could visit the campus this month.
Twenty-five students used the tickets from American, Continental, Delta, and Southwest airlines. The prospective students stayed with current law students in Austin.
The law school has strived to increase the number of minority students on campus in the wake of a 1996 federal-court
