Aid for Palestinian Higher Education; Requiring Students to Learn an African Language
The European Commission has announced that it plans to aid Palestinian higher education, which has been severely disrupted by the intifada and by Israeli military operations.
Through the World Bank's Emergency Services Support Program, the European Commission, the executive body of the European Union, has designated about $8.5-million in aid for the Palestinian Authority's Ministry of Higher Education.
