Aid Officers' Group Rejects 2 Loan Plans
Faced with taking a position on two proposals that would either strengthen or weaken the federal government's direct-lending program, the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators agreed at its annual meeting in New York this month to a set of recommendations that would do neither, and in the process, the group left many financial-aid directors unhappy.
