Against Both Racism and Racial Preferences
To the Editor:
Ian F. Haney López argues that those of us who contend that it is bad law and bad policy for the government to use racial preferences and discrimination do so because we really want to shore up white privilege ("Colorblind to the Reality of Race in America," The Chronicle Review, November 3).
