After More Than 80 Years, Emmanuel College Decides to Admit Men

Last week's decision by Emmanuel College to start accepting male students after more than 80 years was made mostly to keep its traditional constituency, the women, happy.
Emmanuel's president, Sister Janet Eisner, explained that the institution had concluded more than a year ago that its status as an all-women's college was impeding its ability to attract female students.
