Advocates for Students Ask Government to Revise Rules for Borrowers
Citing public concern about rising levels of educational debt, groups representing students, parents, and college officials, and two loan-guarantee agencies have filed a formal request asking the U.S. Education Department to revise regulations pertaining to borrowers who have taken on unmanageable levels of federal student-loan debt.
