Admissions Offers to Foreign Students Drop at U.S. Graduate Schools
The number of foreign students offered admission to American graduate schools declined 3 percent in 2009, the first drop in five years, says a report on an annual survey by the Council of Graduate Schools.
This year's decrease in foreign admissions is due, in large part, to double-digit dips in offers of admission to prospective students from two of the largest sending countries, India and Korea. Offers of admissions
