Admissions Deans Dish on Their Jobs
Despite grueling hours, and high turnover, many find their work satisfying
Ten or 15 years ago, Jon Boeckenstedt usually got little reaction when he told people that he worked in admissions. Some would ask him a polite question or two about his job, the same way they might have asked an accountant or an insurance salesman.
