Administrators' Pay Rises 3.3%, Beating Inflation

Median salaries for higher-education administrators increased 3.3 percent in the 2004-5 academic year, according to an annual survey by the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.

The increase was higher than it was in 2003-4, when salaries grew by 2.5 percent over the previous year. The
