Administrators Are at Fault if Departments Self-Destruct
To the Editor:
As a former member of the political-science department at the University of Cincinnati, which for many years was located one floor below the economics department, I know many of the individuals named in the article "Bickering Decimates a Department" (October 18). I am very sorry to see the condition to which that unit has been driven.
Although the particulars differ and the economics department is an extreme case, the article could have been written about
