Adjuncts at NYU May Form Union

Four thousand part-time professors at New York University will get a chance to vote in May on whether they should form what would be the largest adjunct-only union in the nation.

But the campaign won't just pit pro-union and anti-union forces against each other. In a battle between two major unions, adjuncts will vote on whether they want to affiliate with the United Auto Workers or the American Federation of Teachers.
