Achieving Diversity With Michigan in Mind
When the U.S. Supreme Court issued its decisions in the University of Michigan affirmative-action cases 10 months ago, it reaffirmed one of my bedrock beliefs, that the benefits of diversity are real, substantial, and worth pursuing vigorously.
