Accreditor Warns College in Alaska
Sheldon Jackson College, in Sitka, Alaska, has been issued a show-cause order by its accreditor, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. That is the most serious action the accrediting agency can take short of withdrawing accreditation, and indicates that an institution is in "serious noncompliance" with accreditation standards.
