Accreditor Punishes College in Nevada
Sierra Nevada College, a private liberal-arts institution in the Lake Tahoe resort area that took a cash infusion last year from a for-profit company, has been placed on probation by its accrediting agency, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
