Accreditor Ends Auburn U.'s Probation
Auburn University has been taken off probation a year after its accreditor, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, imposed the penalty for what it described as trustee meddling in the Alabama university's administration and Auburn's lack of commitment to the accreditation process.
