Accrediting Panel Grants Candidate Status to Western Governors U.

Western Governors University passed a crucial milestone in its quest for accreditation last month, when a consortium of regional accreditors awarded the online institution candidate status.

The decision came after two years of assessment by the Inter-Regional Accrediting Committee, which is made up of four regional accrediting agencies that will jointly determine whether W.G.U. gains accreditation.
