Accrediting Agencies Penalize Colleges
The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools' Higher Learning Commission has decided to withdraw accreditation from Native American Educational Services College, in Chicago.
Established in 1974, the college describes itself as the only independent college in the country that is owned and controlled by American Indians. It offers a single degree: a bachelor's in public policy.
