Accreditation at Risk for Little Big Horn College
The Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges has told Little Big Horn College that its accreditation will be withdrawn in June unless the Montana tribal college can satisfy concerns over governance and the recent removal of the college's president, Janine Pease-Pretty on Top.
"The commission's unambiguous requirement that the college's governing board be solely responsible for the selection, evaluation, and termination of the president has been violated,"
