Accreditation Standards Proposed for Human-Subjects Research
An association that wants to accredit universities and other institutions that perform research on humans released its standards last week for comment.
The group, the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, may begin vying next year with another organization for contracts from universities to review how well they protect the safety and well-being of research volunteers.
