Accreditation Is Near for Medical School
Florida State University's new medical school was granted provisional accreditation last month by a national board that had rejected the school's first application for accreditation.
The decision by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, which accredits the nation's 125 medical schools, makes the Florida State College of Medicine the first such institution in 20 years to win provisional accreditation.
