Accounting for the Rise in Accounting Enrollments
The numbers are adding up at many of the nation's accounting programs this fall: Both undergraduates and graduate students are flocking to accounting courses.
The reasons vary. Some of the increases started before the recent wave of corporate accounting scandals, which have tainted the profession but have also demonstrated its importance.
