Accountability at Canada's Universities
Toronto, Canada -- Academics in Canada have added their collective voice to a chorus calling for more accountability and openness in the governance of the country's universities.
In a report sponsored by the Canadian Association of University Teachers, an independent panel says that colleges, to safeguard their central academic mission, must operate in a more open manner. The association represents 26,000 academics and researchers across the country.
