Accessible Technology for Disabled Students

I see two separate issues in "Lawsuit Charges Online University Does Not Accommodate Learning-Disabled Students" (The Chronicle, August 12): accessibility of technology, especially for online courses; and students with disabilities enrolled in higher education. Most universities and colleges have procedures in place for identifying, registering, and supporting students with disabilities based on the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act. ...
