Military Academies Have Made Progress in Dealing With Sexual Assault, Pentagon Report Finds
Cadets and midshipmen at the U.S. military-service academies generally feel safe and say sexual assaults are rare on academy grounds, according to a Pentagon report released on Friday, which also states that all three institutions have successfully adopted prevention and response programs for sexual harassment and violence.
However, fears of retaliation and of being stigmatized for reporting sexual assaults still exist at the academies, and some students say they are concerned
