The effective pursuit of knowledge and truth requires, among other things, accuracy in conception, language, and coverage. Katherine Zoepf's "A West Bank University Builds Partnerships With Israeli Institutions" (The Chronicle, March 24) is on target when it explains the hardships under which Palestinian academics and students function, and how Al-Quds University is under fire from Palestinians for its cooperation with Israeli institutions.
