Academic-Library Groups Support Lawsuit to Prevent Disclosure of Names
In a case involving file sharing on the Internet, academic-library groups have joined 33 other organizations in filing a legal brief in support of Verizon Communications. The company is trying to prevent the recording industry from obtaining the names Verizon customers who have traded copyrighted material illegally.
