Academic Freedom at Temple
To the Editor:
David Horowitz misstates the case when he claims that "Temple University became the first institution to adopt a student bill of rights as a response to my challenge" ("After the Academic Bill of Rights," The Chronicle Review, November 10). In fact, the policy statement to which Mr. Horowitz refers reaffirmed Temple's ongoing commitment to the academic freedom of its students and faculty members.
