Academic Forum in Israel Canceled Over Anti-Semitism Charges
An academic colloquium on missile defense to be held at Israel's Knesset, or parliament, last week was canceled after it was revealed that the event's organizer, Robert J. Loewenberg, once accused assassinated Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin of "re-invent[ing] left-wing anti-Semitism."
The planned colloquium had been arranged by the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies. The institute, which Mr. Loewenberg heads, has offices in Jerusalem and Washington. Other
