ACE Official Is Named in Audit of Former Employer
A senior vice president of the American Council on Education, James Renick, has come under scrutiny in a state audit of spending at North Carolina A&T State University during part of his tenure as chancellor there.
A state audit released last month found that $380,000 in receipts from a beverage contract had been improperly directed into a discretionary fund maintained for the university's chancellor from 2003 through 2005.
