AAUP Votes to Censure Charleston Southern and to Lift Censure of Blinn College
The American Association of University Professors voted this month to place Charleston Southern University on its list of censured administrations.
The move comes two years after the university dismissed a professor in apparent retaliation for a eulogy in which he blasted the institution for the low pay his late colleague had received. The association also voted to drop Blinn College, in Brenham, Tex., from the list, 25 years after it first appeared on it.
