AAUP Votes to Censure 2 Colleges; 7 Others Are Removed From List

Two institutions were censured by the American Association of University Professors this month for violating faculty rights. But seven others had their names erased from the list. The A.A.U.P. has been in the business of denouncing institutions that it sees as trampling on the tenets of academic freedom and tenure since 1936, when its censure list came into being. |
