AAUP Removes 2 Institutions From Its Censure List and Adds 3
The American Association of University Professors added three institutions to its censure list and removed two others at its annual national meeting here this month. It also adopted a statement rebuking Benedict College, which has already been on the list for more than a decade, and gave an award to that college's chapter of the AAUP.
The association voted to censure Meharry Medical College, in Tennessee; the University of the Cumberlands, in Kentucky; and Virginia State University. It
