AAUP Censures One University, Removes 5 Others From List
The American Association of University Professors added New Mexico Highlands University to its list of censured administrations during its annual meeting here this month.
The association also removed five institutions from the list, which the group uses to rebuke colleges and universities that violate its standards of tenure and academic freedom. With the changes, the list includes 43 institutions.
