AAUP and Others Will Watch With Concern as Antioch College Tries to Save Itself
Alumni and others fighting to keep Antioch College alive beyond next summer were able to breathe a sigh of relief this weekend, but only momentarily. The agreement for keeping the college open comes with conditions, risks, and repercussions.
Over the weekend, the governing board that oversees the college and alumni leaders set sizable fund-raising goals, some of which need to be met quickly and in cash, and announced, among other changes, that an unspecified number of faculty
