A Truly Radical Postmodern Theology
To the Editor:
Jeff Sharlet's "Theologians Seek to Reclaim the World With God and Postmodernism" (June 23) shines like a light in the darkness. Who would have thought The Chronicle would have the chutzpah to remind academe that not only did all scholarly pursuit begin as theology, but that to this day it is ultimately nothing but?
Theologians ideally seek the biggest possible big picture. If one takes the idea of God seriously, it's all God, after all.
