A Tribal College Sticks to Its Values as It Embraces Distance Education
Service matters more than profit, and collaborative learning is emphasized
Salish Kootenai College's modest campus has been abuzz with construction over the past few months. Two new buildings -- one for art and the other for environmental science -- are being built, and a new sculpture of the Native American spirit Eagle Wing greets visitors.
